I’m Chester, the owner and lead designer at Lyman Interiors. My passion for interior design stems from my background in couture fashion and a lifelong passion for creating luxurious yet personal spaces. I believe design should reflect the people who inhabit it, combining beauty, functionality, and warmth to create spaces that feel like home.

My journey into interior design is a bit unconventional. My experience with couture honed my eye for textiles, color, and the emotional impact that materials can have on a space. Over time, I expanded into interior design, focusing on how spaces influence how we live and feel. I also bring a diverse background in hospitality, banking, insurance, and an MBA, all of which provide the strategic insight needed to manage projects efficiently while staying true to my clients' visions.

Traveling the world has been another key source of inspiration. From the elegance of Italian design to the simplicity of Scandinavian style, my experiences have enriched my perspective and influenced how I incorporate meaningful elements into my designs—whether it’s a piece of art that inspires memories of a trip to Bali or a vintage find that holds personal significance.
